Help! I don’t know what to wear

If you’re like me some days it’s a struggle to find yourself a complete outfit that matches let alone trying to co-ordinate the whole family for a photo session so here are some tips to make it a bit easier.

Where to start.

Mum gets to choose her favourite top or outfit first, then you have a base to pick tones or colours for the rest of the family

Get comfortable.

If you don’t normally wear little dresses and heels or a starched shirt and they make you uncomfortable it will show in your photos, so be sure to wear something you can relax and feel good in.

Add personality by wearing a hat or flower in your hair, scarves, wraps, jewellery, boots, umbrellas – whatever you love, anything that is unique to you, your family or your children

Colour pop.

It’s best to avoid logos and big pictures as they can distract as well as date the photos. Solid colours work well with a pop of colour here and there to add interest and connect everything together

When you book a session you will receive a welcome pack that includes an even more comprehensive guide to choosing your clothes as well as tips on what to bring.

If you have feedback or any other tips up your sleeve that might help someone choose their outfits I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
