A personal journey

So what’s a woman to do when it feels like her world has come crashing down. This is exactly what it felt like for Dawn when her marriage broke down a year and a half ago. She was left holding the fort and her teenage son when her husband walked out the door a few months before her 50th birthday.

Despite crying an ocean of tears Dawn wasn’t one to lay down and give up. She started walking and focusing on her health. It was while she was walking and singing aloud to her favourite country tunes that Dawn found a glimmer of hope.

No longer content to just sing along anymore Dawn decided to make her own music. She bought some beautiful guitars and set to teaching herself how to play. She made new friends who share her love of music and spends her spare time jamming.

Determined, strong and beautiful Dawn also works hard to support herself and her son who apart from her music is her world. She recently decided she needed an extra boost of confidence and using the Gift Certificate she got for her 50th birthday booked herself in for a Portrait Session.

As George Bernard Shaw quoted “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” And that’s exactly what Dawn has done. Please give her a like and let her know how awesome she is.
